Thumbelina was not a doeling I planned on keeping, but Emilie just loved her even though I thought her legs were too short for that long body. I told Emilie she would never win. Emilie said I was wrong and when I saw her shaved for her first show I began to think Em might be right. She took second in her class her first show and won Grand Champion Junior Doe at her second show at 10 weeks old. Those of you that have teens know that I am never going to hear the end of this one. Thumbelina is very dairy and has great angulation. Her Dam has a wonderful first freshening udder that is a dream to milk. I look forward to Emilie and Thumbelina continuing to prove me wrong. Update-Thumbelina kidded with 1D/1B on June 6th. She is looking amazing.
