Rue is named after the super Hunger Games books. We all read them and when our favorite doe Amberlea gave us twins we named them Rue and Katniss. Rue has done a great job during her first show season. She ended the season winning JR Grand Champion at the Illinois State Fair with her Dam Amberlea taking the Senior Grand at the age of 8. Rue has a long and level topline with great extention of brisket and is smoothly blended. Rue kidded in March with twin does. She has a nice udder that is well attached. Her lines are slow to mature, but built to last. We are very pleased that we gave her time to mature. Her third freshening udder is very capaious.
