We had Leela's sire (Cade's Lil Farm Cookie Monster) on lease so we knew we wanted to keep at least 2 of his daughters. Leela was one of triplets and her chocolate color made her stand out. Her dam is one of our herd favorites and is getting up there in years so we knew we would keep something from this pairing. Leela has hit the show circuit but did not enjoy the experience AT ALL so we will wait until she grows up a bit to give it another try. She is a long doe and level in the topline and so very dairy.
Update- We put Leela in a show last weekend with 60 junior does and she earned herself a grand! She was still not a fan but walked well enough to catch the judges eye.
